Task 4 : TESTING THE END PRODUCT AND ITERATIVE DESIGNS

WEEK 10

After presentation, it was decided that the client will be moving on with our team's outcomes for application, microsite, mascot and pitch video. It gave me a sense of acknowledgement that my work is decent enough to be chosen, and motivated me to keep pushing through the last two weeks of this module.
From the previous feedback, I've added more mascots to the video to tie the overall direction together. Unsure of how to speed up the pacing yet based on client's request, I submitted this draft for their feedback.

After some back and forth with the clients, they suddenly decided that they wanted a slower pacing instead, which is difficult to execute as everything was timed according to the beat of the song. Changing it would mean a new video entirely, and I am unsure if I am able to pull that off in a short amount of time. Regardless, after proposing some alternate solutions, the clients decided to remove the SDG part of the video. This allowed room for a more relaxed pacing, and for the video to showcase the application features more.
With that said, I made the changes and adjustments accordingly and updated the application interface to the latest layouts.

WEEK 11

Moving on, we started working on tidying up the documentation and the rest of the outcomes, getting it ready for submission and presentation in this week's class. It has been a pleasure working on this project for the past 10 weeks. It may be a journey with ups and downs, but I'm glad our team powered through and managed to produce quality work in a short and tight timeline.

Experience:
After the presentation, the client chose our team's work for the application, microsite, mascot, and pitch video. This recognition motivated me to push through the final two weeks. Despite challenges with pacing adjustments, I proposed solutions and made necessary changes, updating the application interface and preparing documentation for submission. Having to liaise with not just the clients but collaborating teams was an added challenge, and I'm grateful to our capable leader who made it all look easy.

Observation:
The client's decision showed our work met their standards. Interactions with the client highlighted the need for flexibility and effective communication in addressing changing requirements. The ability of other teams who have implemented our outcomes into theirs cohesively and seamlessly were very impressive, especially with the tight timeline everyone had to follow. I learned plenty for their group's adaptability and innovative solutions to the proposed tasks.

Findings:
The project's ups and downs emphasized perseverance and teamwork. Successfully managing tight timelines and producing quality work underscored the importance of collaboration and responsiveness to not just client feedback, but collaborations with other teams as well.
